Some pretty pictures from Camp Cherith of Western New York

well I got back from my Math A test a little while ago.... It went well but they give you a ridiculous amount of time to do it and you have to stay in the testing room until the time is up.... So I was just sitting around getting a headache for about an hour after I finished. But it was kinda funny, me and Alex have this friend who sits with us in lunch, he is really smart and he is in calculus already even though he is only a sophomore. He lived in north Carolina last year so ended up having to take Math A with us cause you need to pass it in order to graduate in new York.
so here we are taking this test with this kid who is like 3 year's ahead of us in math!!! But its okay cause no one was overly challenged.
I am stealing this idea from Adam even though its "copyrighted". I mostly want to do this cause he was bashing one of the best movies in the world and I want to bash a movie that he likes....
Here is what I think of War of the Worlds...
Depressing Moment: When the son leaves for absolutely no good reason
Happiest Scene: when the mom drops the kids off
interesting Scene: the lighting strike
Boring Scene: the cellar with the crazy
Exciting Scene: lighting strike
Emotional Scene: when he realizes what the dust all over him is
Expected Scene that happened: when the guy they take the car from gets zapped
Scene that was overdone: in the cellar
disappointing scene: when the son leaves
Amusing Scene: when Tom Cruise throws the base ball through the window
Lamest Scene: the reunion with family
Best Phrase of the movie: I don't remember exact quotes but it's when the little girl was like"he just left, he left and he took your car"
Best Character: Dakota Fleming
Worst character: Tom Cruise
Movie rating from me: out of a hundred..... 5.7
Words of advice: stick to the book a little more please!! Less blood and gore, rising and settling action instead of nonstop violence. Really stupid ending. Again less blood and gore
the moral of this story is that movie opinions are widely differing and everybody's entitled to their own opinions
that was fun......

You said in your "Words of Advice" to stick to the book a little more - actually, truth be known, it was a radio drama before it was ever a book - and loooooonnnnggg before there was ever a movie about it! (of course you already knew that though...)
I've never seen the movie, so I can't exactly rate that, though.
My brother has the actual broadcast of it when it was first aired on the radio, though... the thing I don't understand is - how and why did people think that was actually real?!?!
There was something else I was going to say that I forgot - so tata!

well tai i'm sorry but the book was published before the radio drama. the radio drama that scared the world was aired in 1938 by orsen wells and that was based upon the book by H.G. wells written in 1898
I agree that movie was reall stupid
Jarred... your just jealous... admit it... Her name is DAKOTA FANNING!!! Yeah... I would have to say that they should've left out the cellar scene and the happiest moment would be the reunion... I'll just do this at my blog... after all I started this whole movie critic thing...
Wait... I'm taking way too much credit... and Nicholae helped as well...
